The most recognizable name for fans belongs to the man behind bringing <em>Justice League<\/em>\u2019s <strong>Uxas \/ Darkseid<\/strong> to life, voice actor <strong>Ray Porter<\/strong>. The later two are <strong>Bethany Brown<\/strong>, who played <strong>Null<\/strong> on <strong>The CW&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>The Flash<\/em><\/strong> as well as&nbsp;<strong>Troy Baker<\/strong>, who portrays <strong>Bruce Wayne \/ Batman<\/strong> in the immensely popular <em><strong>Batman: Arkham Origins<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em><strong>Assault On Arkham<\/strong><\/em> video games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ray Porter isn\u2019t the only <em>Justice League<\/em> star pushing for the release of Ayer\u2019s original vision for the movie, as <strong>Victor Stone \/ Cyborg<\/strong> actor, <strong>Ray Fisher<\/strong>, took to Twitter to voice his support for the Ayer Cut after receiving a birthday wish from David Ayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I know what I want for my next birthday: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ReleaseTheAyerCut?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ReleaseTheAyerCut<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DavidAyerMovies?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@DavidAyerMovies<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lxgXQXoQTk\">https:\/\/t.co\/lxgXQXoQTk<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Ray Fisher (@ray8fisher) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ray8fisher\/status\/1303519870265556993?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 9, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intended to be the third installment in the <strong>DC Extended Universe<\/strong>,&nbsp;<em>Suicide Squad&nbsp;<\/em>was set to introduce and embrace a darker take on&nbsp;a group of captured supervillains who work for the government in return for reduced sentences. Much to the dismay of DCEU fans, extensive reshoots, choppy editing, a widely inconsistent tone, and&nbsp;several underdeveloped characters led to the final product seen in theaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s been <a href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/suicide-squad-ayer-cut-new-differences-explained\/\">reported<\/a> that the Ayer Cut of <em>Suicide Squad<\/em> included lengthier backstories for almost all the characters (most notably <strong>Jared Leto\u2019s Joker<\/strong>), a  more \u201cabusive\u201d story between <strong>Margot Robbie\u2019s Harley Quinn<\/strong> and the Joker, and a more tightly executed plot that would\u2019ve helped set the stage for <em>Justice League\u2019s<\/em> main villain <strong>Steppenwolf<\/strong> and his <strong>parademons<\/strong> along with introducing the <strong>Motherboxes<\/strong> through <strong>Cara Delevigne\u2019s June Moon \/ The Enchantress<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/david-ayer-e1560212670976-1024x575-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29972\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/david-ayer-e1560212670976-1024x575-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/david-ayer-e1560212670976-1024x575-1-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/david-ayer-e1560212670976-1024x575-1-768x431.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completing the Ayer Cut would have some expense attached to finishing Ayer&#8217;s cut of the movie; Warner Bros. is spending $20-30 million on the Snyder Cut of <em>Justice League<\/em>., due to VFX work that needs finishing and other post-production costs. However, the budget for&nbsp;<em>Suicide Squad<\/em>&#8216;s&nbsp;director&#8217;s cut would likely be lower, and justifiable as the cost of a new exclusive release for HBO Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While only time will tell if fans get to see David Ayer\u2019s original vision, speculation continues to run that the second part of <strong>DC FanDome<\/strong> on September 12th will have those special announcements that were previously on the first FanDome schedule. All-in-all, it seems like the Ayer Cut movement is gaining momentum as fans and DC actors are continuing to join forces to voice their desire to the see David Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you guys want to see the Ayer Cut released?
