Certain cities within the United States are set to receive a theatrical release of <em>Tenet<\/em> just before Labor Day weekend. As if the film wasn\u2019t already one of the most anticipated films of 2020, <strong>IMAX <\/strong>released this tweet on August 5th, adding more fuel to the fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ready for inversion, immersion, and the ultimate IMAX experience? Christopher Nolan\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TENETFilm?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TenetFilm<\/a> was shot on IMAX Film and made to be experienced in <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IMAX?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IMAX<\/a>. Opening only in theatres soon. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TENET?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#TENET<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/AHrcHdI19W\">pic.twitter.com\/AHrcHdI19W<\/a><\/p>&mdash; IMAX (@IMAX) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IMAX\/status\/1291048261176852480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 5, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tweet boasts Nolan\u2019s use of IMAX<em> <\/em>cameras while filming <em>Tenet<\/em> and makes the claim that optimal viewing for an immersive experience of the film will be in an IMAX theater. Christopher Nolan was one of the first directors to get his hands on the expensive IMAX cameras during the filming of 2008\u2019s <em><strong>The Dark Knight<\/strong><\/em> and has somewhat helped pioneer the use of IMAX<em> <\/em>cameras in the process of filming.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most cinephiles and avid supporters of Nolan\u2019s are eagerly biding their time until they can see the new \u201ctime inversion\u201d film in cinemas, and with IMAX\u2019s most recent tweet, those same people may be even more eager for the film\u2019s release now more than ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Tenet, <\/em>starring <strong>John David Washington<\/strong>, and <strong>Robert Pattinson<\/strong>, is directed by Christopher Nolan<em>, <\/em>and is set to release in select United States cities September 3rd, after the film\u2019s initial release in other countries on August 26th.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"530\" height=\"794\" src=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/JfIUwz9.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28216\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source:  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comingsoon.net\/movies\/trailers\/1144364-new-tenet-imax-trailer-promises-the-ultimate-film-experience\">ComingSoon.net<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nHype for Christopher Nolan&#8217;s new film Tenet has reached an all time high.
