{"id":26822,"date":"2020-07-16T13:48:54","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T20:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/?p=26822"},"modified":"2021-06-15T14:09:37","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T21:09:37","slug":"noah-centineo-cast-as-atom-smasher-for-black-adam-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/?p=26822","title":{"rendered":"Noah Centineo Cast as Atom Smasher for &#8220;Black Adam&#8221; Film"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/media.thecrimson.com\/photos\/2019\/10\/18\/111442_1340016.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>The Fosters<\/strong><\/em>&#8216; and <em><strong>To All the Boys I\u2019ve Loved Before<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Noah Centineo<\/strong> has just been added to the cast of <strong>Dwayne Johnson<\/strong>&#8216;s <em><strong>Black Adam<\/strong> <\/em>film, playing the role of <strong>Atom Smasher<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Known for his role in teen dramas, Centineo will be switching to superhero and action roles for the time being, having also been cast as <strong>He-Man<\/strong> for the <strong><em>Masters of the Universe<\/em><\/strong> film being helmed by <strong>Sony<\/strong> <strong>Pictures<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Albert Rothstein<\/strong>, aka Atom Smasher, is a superhero in the <strong>DC Universe<\/strong> with the ability to expand his size and strength on a molecular level. Originally part of the <strong>Justice Society of America<\/strong>, Atom Smasher has a bit of an interesting history with <strong>Black Adam<\/strong>, becoming allies with the super-powered tyrant after feeling disillusioned with the role of being a superhero.
