It currently stands at a 91% &#8220;Fresh&#8221; rating according to <strong>Rotten Tomatoes<\/strong>, thanks in no small part to its amazing cast, crew, special effects and scripts&#8211;not to mention its heroic and incredible source material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/S\/cmx-images-prod\/Item\/412029\/412029._SX1600_QL80_TTD_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"720\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adapting <strong>Geoff Johns<\/strong>&#8216; work on the <em>Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.<\/em> and <em>JSA<\/em> comic books from <strong>DC Comics<\/strong>, the series follows high school student Courtney Whitmore (played by <strong>Brec Bassinger<\/strong>), as she deals with the usual rigors of teenage life, while suiting up as Stargirl to combat the Injustice Society. The series also stars Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Meg DeLacy and Trae Romano. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though the first season is not over, the powers that be have announced there will be a second season. What&#8217;s more, <em>Stargirl<\/em> has found a new home at <strong>The CW<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The move comes as no surprise: as it currently stands, each new episode already premieres on The CW after its initial release on the <strong>DC Streaming Service<\/strong>. This decision means that The CW will become the exclusive home to the second season.
