The <strong><em>Kingdoms of Amalur<\/em> <\/strong>remaster was scheduled to drop on August 18th of this year but has now been pushed back to September 8th. The game was originally announced after a leaked Microsoft Store posting in June. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trailer ends with a tease for a new expansion, called <em><strong>Fatesworn<\/strong><\/em>, to release in 2021. As of now, the game will be available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam, with no word on whether it will be playable on next-gen consoles. The story takes place in a fantastical setting. featuring a mortal dubbed &#8220;The Fateless One,&#8221; who will adventure through the regions of the Faelands. Players can customize their character among four races (two elf types and two human types) and three classes (fighter, rogue, and mage). Combat abilities rely on skill trees, and live combat often involves quick-time events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three DLCs for the game were released in 2012: <em>The Legend of Dead Kel<\/em>, <em>Teeth of Naros<\/em>, and <em>Weapons and Armor Bundle<\/em>. A sequel was <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/kingdoms-amalur-reckoning-sequel-production\/\">reportedly<\/a> in pre-production before developers Big Huge Games and 38 Studios were forced to file for bankruptcy in 2012.
