Not much is known regarding his own character, but Dano has described the script as &#8220;potentially really powerful&#8221; and praised director <strong>Matt Reeves<\/strong> as &#8220;the real deal,&#8221; according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/theplaylist.net\/paul-dano-batman-script-20200530\/?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=twitter\">recent interview with The Playlist<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dano notes that while he &#8220;can\u2019t even legally can\u2019t say anything about [the film] . . . there\u2019s something fun there in my character and in all the characters.&#8221; Since we haven&#8217;t seen the Riddler on the big screen since Jim Carrey&#8217;s portrayal in <em>Batman Forever<\/em>, the return of the criminal mastermind is just in time to take on <strong>Robert Pattinson&#8217;s Batman. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of yet, production has not resumed for <em>The Batman<\/em>. Dano, Reeves, and the rest of the cast and crew<em><strong> <\/strong><\/em>are eager to share the next adventures of the Caped Crusader on the big screen and tease it will be &#8220;worth the wait.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Batman<\/em>, directed by Matt Reeves, stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne\/Batman, <strong>Andy Serkis<\/strong> as Alfred Pennyworth, <strong>Zo\u00eb Kravitz <\/strong>as Selina Kyle\/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton\/The Riddler, <strong>Jeffrey Wright <\/strong>as James Gordon, and <strong>Colin Farrell <\/strong>as Oswald Cobblepot\/The Penguin.
