Almost all the Justice League stars have shown their support for the release of the fabled Snyder Cut<\/em> version of the Justice League movie. One actor from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), as it is called, isn’t quite active in the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut<\/em> movement is Jesse Eisenberg<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesse Eisenberg<\/em> plays the character of Lex Luthor<\/em> – Superman’s arch-rival in the famous DC comics. Jesse first appeared as the famous villain in BvS: Dawn of Justice<\/em> and later went onto make a brief appearance in the Justice League movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesse Eisenberg in a recent interview with Toronto Sun<\/a><\/em> said that he does not watch the movies that he’s played a part in, so he is not aware of a Snyder Cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I\u2019m not sure because I don\u2019t watch anything I\u2019ve been in, and I haven\u2019t seen either Batman v Superman<\/em> or Justice League. I know that I had a smaller part in one of them but I get pretty uncomfortable watching myself. So I\u2019m not aware of a Snyder Cut.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When asked more about the Snyder Cut and how the movement has gathered steam since the beginning, he said that he likes Zack and the work he does and if there’s a movie that he wanted to see released, he’s sure it’d be great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 “I\u2019m not part of \u2014 I don\u2019t even know what to call it \u2014 the movement. I like Zack Snyder and I worked with him for a while just by virtue of these movies taking so long to film. I love his style and aesthetic and if there\u2019s a movie he wanted to see released, I\u2019m sure it would be great.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When asked if he would be ready to go back to the role of playing Lex Luthor<\/em>, Eisenberg replied saying he’d reprise the role in a heartbeat if asked. He even hinted that he’s particularly drawn to playing a ‘bad guy’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh yeah, I would very much like to because it\u2019s such a cool character. Playing a villain in a superhero movie is the fun part. The good guys are fine, but the villains are the fun part because they get to be a little bit more flamboyant. That\u2019s the coolest role to play. I don\u2019t even know if they know what they\u2019re doing with the movies, but for me it was exhilarating. I would love to play that role forever. I have no knowledge about what they\u2019re doing with it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The actor has made it pretty evident that he loves playing the character of Lex Luthor<\/em>. He said one of the great thing about playing a comic book character is that the character is open to any interpretation and that it is not a prescribed role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You can do anything [with the character] and it\u2019s right, you can be as funny, as dramatic, as crazed, as sensitive [as you want]. The character is open to any interpretation. It\u2019s not a prescribed, acceptable role that the audience feels they have to like or see themselves in, so that\u2019s the kind of freeing role that actors like. Will they let me do it again? I have no idea. But that\u2019s the kind of thing I love.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
