Kojima Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment have official released the launch trailer for Hideo Kojima\u2019s latest video game, Death Stranding, offering our best look yet at the game\u2019s plot & it\u2019s wide array of characters, while still leaving many questions to be answered\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch trailer, released earlier this morning, leans heavily into the game’s narrative direction with our best look at the elusive game\u2019s story to date – And just in time as the game is set to release as a timed exclusive on Sony\u2019s PlayStation 4 gaming platform on November 8th<\/sup>. The trailer centers around Sam Porter Bridges, recruited by the ailing President to journey across a shattered continent filled with mysterious dangers in hopes to reunite a divided nation after an event known as the \u201cDeath Stranding\u201d. In typical Kojima fashion, nothing is ever as it seems, and we are left with more questions than actual answers. The trailer also features Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo Del Toro and Lindsay Wagner, to name a few, all whom play pivotal supporting roles in the game\u2019s plot. The launch trailer has been said by some who have already played the game under embargo to feature some heavy “out of context” spoilers from the game that players looking to experience DS for the first time without any spoilers may want to avoid.
