Starring Naomi Watts, the\nseries was expected to have focused on the \u201cAge of Heroes,\u201d and according to The\nHollywood Reporter, would have featured first-ever battle between man and White\nWalker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reasons behind HBO\u2019s decision are unclear, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/live-feed\/game-thrones-naomi-watts-led-prequel-dead-at-hbo-1250795\">but Wigler and Goldberg note<\/a> that the premium cable network was unhappy with the final cut of the pilot, asking for several changes in edits before scraping the project entirely.
