{"id":15352,"date":"2015-02-19T22:24:35","date_gmt":"2015-02-20T06:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/?p=15352"},"modified":"2015-02-19T22:24:35","modified_gmt":"2015-02-20T06:24:35","slug":"zack-snyder-reveals-jason-momoa-as-aquaman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/?p=15352","title":{"rendered":"Zack Snyder reveals Jason Momoa as Aquaman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zack Snyder has revealed Jason Momoa as Aquaman through his twitter account earlier today, stating \u201cThere is only one true King.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/aquamanjasonmomoa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15354 \" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/aquamanjasonmomoa.jpg\" alt=\"aquamanjasonmomoa\" width=\"601\" height=\"902\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While this bears little resemblance to the Aquaman from the comics, Momoa does make the hero look pretty bad ass. I especially like the look of the tattoos, though I think real armor might be more effective against Superman than ink.<\/p>\n<p>What is most intriguing are the details that can be seen upon closer inspection. At first glace you can notice his tattoos on his left arm mirror the armor on his right, and his belt holds the iconic Aquaman symbol like his comicbook counterpart.
