When the scientists in the lab decide to use a genetic manipulation to create a new dinosaur, nature does what it is want to do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RFinNxS5KN4frameborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RFinNxS5KN4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Inside Out<\/strong><\/em> \u2013<strong> June 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black<\/p>\n<p>With a star studded cast of voice actors,<i> Inside Out <\/i>looks like it will have Pixar&#8217;s signature lighthearted humor and feel good message. Though very different than the other films on this list, Pixar always delivers fantastic films worth seeing in theater.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jsE7gyBg-SQframeborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jsE7gyBg-SQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Terminator: Genisys<\/strong><\/em> \u2013<strong> July 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney<\/p>\n<p>With the <i>Terminator<\/i> franchise recent sale, the new owners are looking to reboot the films rather than let the franchise die gracefully. Smart money is on a flop, but Schwarzenegger in a starring role, return of the T1000, and a release for the July 4<sup>th<\/sup> weekend could mean we&#8217;ll be seeing the rebirth of the franchise whether we like it or not.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/62E4FJTwSucframeborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/62E4FJTwSuc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ant-Man<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 <strong>July 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll<\/p>\n<p>After years of rumors, leaks, and production hell, we&#8217;ve finally gotten our first look at <i>Ant-Man<\/i>. Tying in to the events of <i>Age of Ultron<\/i>, this film will feature a new set of Marvel heroes, and kick off phase 3 in the MCU. The trailer looks to bring the humor, high stakes, and action the MCU has become famous for.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xInh3VhAWs8frameborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xInh3VhAWs8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Pan<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 <strong>July 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, Levi Z Miller<\/p>\n<p>A retelling of the origins of Peter Pan, this film shows us the rise of the famed our titular hero and his nemesis, Captain Hook. Bringing a distinct visual flair and high adventure, this film looks to be one of the more surprising offerings of 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UHl8F60t-ssframeborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UHl8F60t-ss\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Fantastic Four<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <strong>August 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell<\/p>\n<p>With no trailer and little to no marketing yet, not much is known about the Fantastic Four reboot beyond odd casting choices. However, Josh Trank, director of 2012&#8217;s <em>Chronicle <\/em>promises a gritty, dark take on the characters while reportedly ignoring the majority of the source material. Sounds like <em>Fantastic Four<\/em> may just be the <em>World War Z<\/em> of 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/NEMaOzJZ74XvQP_3_b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-14628 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/NEMaOzJZ74XvQP_3_b-300x158.jpg\" alt=\"NEMaOzJZ74XvQP_3_b\" width=\"446\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Crimson Peak<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <strong>October 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tom Hiddleston,\u00a0 Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, Mia Wasikowska<\/p>\n<p>While we&#8217;re not getting a <em>Pacific Rim<\/em> sequel in 2015, that doesn&#8217;t mean Guillermo del Toro has forgotten us. He&#8217;s treating us to a Gothic horror film set in a crumbling old mansion out in the country. Seemingly more in the vein of\u00a0<em>Pan&#8217;s Labyrinth<\/em> than his robots v monster masterpiece, del Toro is sure to use his signature aesthetic and creativity to craft a haunting, visually stunning horror film.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/tumblr_n9a1ftdSfL1td9eoqo2_r1_500.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-14630 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/tumblr_n9a1ftdSfL1td9eoqo2_r1_500-245x300.jpg\" alt=\"tumblr_n9a1ftdSfL1td9eoqo2_r1_500\" width=\"360\" height=\"441\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Hateful Eight<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <strong>November13<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kurt Russell, Channing Tatum, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a rocky road, but audiences will get to see Tarantino&#8217;s <em>The Hateful Eight<\/em> in theaters after all. Another Western for Tarantino (thankfully), the film follows a group of bounty hunters stuck in an inn during a blizzard. Tarantino has earned his pretentiousness, and this looks to be another great film.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_2KteC2Bkqkframeborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_2KteC2Bkqk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <strong>November 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore<\/p>\n<p>With this final installment, <em>The Hunger Games<\/em> series comes to a close. Though based on a young adult book series, these films have been incredibly good movies, helping to catapult Jennifer Lawrence into stardom and ensuring massive box office takes. Part 2 continues the war against The Capital, while Lawrence&#8217;s character wrestles with PTSD and survivor&#8217;s guilt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/mock_1200_article_story_large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-14635 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/mock_1200_article_story_large-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"mock_1200_article_story_large\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Martian<\/strong> <\/em>&#8211;<strong> November 25<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pe\u00f1a, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sean Bean<\/p>\n<p>Based on the best selling novel of the same title, <em>The Martian<\/em> follows an astronaut stranded on the red planet as he struggles to survive. With Ridley Scott directing a star studded cast, this film already has a lot going for it. Keep an eye out for this one as the year progresses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/the-martian-by-andy-weir_fotor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-14629 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/the-martian-by-andy-weir_fotor-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"the-martian-by-andy-weir_fotor\" width=\"402\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Good Dinosaur<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 <strong>November 25<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, Frances McDormand<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I&#8217;ve got two Pixar films on this list. I love Pixar, who doesn&#8217;t? After several delays, audiences will finally get to experience this film about an Apatasaurus named Arlo who befriends a human boy he names Spot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/nkoazv5uoeiu0ycdik5i.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-14631 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/nkoazv5uoeiu0ycdik5i-300x121.png\" alt=\"nkoazv5uoeiu0ycdik5i\" width=\"508\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 <strong>December 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Andy Serkis and way too many more to name<\/p>\n<p>The other trailer that made nerds everywhere squeal with joy, we can only be thankful the year is so full of great films to keep us from standing in line already. Despite my best efforts to remain cynical and aloof, when that theme music swells, so does my heart. December cannot come quickly enough.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iframewidth=560height=315src=\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jblxjhgolc8frameborder=0allowfullscreen\/iframe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jblxjhgolc8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Iron Sky: The Coming Race<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tom Green, Julia Dietze, Udo Kier<\/p>\n<p>Sequel to 2012&#8217;s Iron Sky, this film features the world reeling from the events of an invasion of Nazi&#8217;s from the moon and gets crazier from there. The trailers out for this feature a race of lizard men at the center of the hollow earth, Hitler riding a T-Rex, Jesus dual wielding machine guns, and tons of pulpy goodness.
