\"gal-gadot-13\"<\/a>Ever since the initial reveal that actress Gal Gadot <\/a>would be taking on the mantle of Wonder Woman, fans have been clamoring and speculating day in and day out about how this Amazonian Warrior would be portrayed.<\/p>\n

While initial hesitation was clearly present with fans regarding the casting, many who are aware of this actress knows of her modeling career and her less-than-bulky physical stature, but time passed has given the fanboy’s time to not only accept the casting, but also root for her success.<\/p>\n

Now thanks to the guys over at JoBlo<\/a>, we may have our first legitimate details on this character:
\nOn Wonder Woman’s Costume:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reports of Wonder Woman wearing the pre-new52 jacket and leggings outfit are inaccurate. Completely. The description of the outfit from our source uses the term \u201cbadass\u201d on multiple occasions. This Wonder Woman is ripped right from the comics and has a \u201ctraditional, yet sleeker\u201d costume that\u2019s \u201cbattle ready.\u201d She\u2019ll have a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs that reach to her elbows, golden tiara (with a design of some sort in the center, possibly the red star) and a variation of the traditional-looking red top (no word on additional armor on it). Her overall appearance is described as \u201cAmazon warrior princess\u201d and definitely not an urban reimagining. She\u2019s there to kick ass and that\u2019s readily apparent. Word is that WB is getting a VERY positive response on her appearance to those they\u2019ve shown it to.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On\u00a0the\u00a0arsenal of Wonder Woman\u2019s weapons:<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s right, not just a golden lasso here. Wonder Woman will have no less than FOUR weapons, including shield, sword, spear, and of course, the traditional lasso. It\u2019s also noted that she will wear the shield on her back, Captain America style, when not in use.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Her role, screen time, and purpose in the film:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her character will be introduced as \u201cDiana\u201d in the film initially before we ever see her as Wonder Woman. She will have a fair amount of screen time and will team up with Batman and Superman for the final battle against an un-named villain who may be working or controlled by Lex Luther. Her origin will be intentionally vague, but she is brought into the fold to show that there are other superheroes in the universe other than Superman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For any of this to be true would come as a welcome surprise to fans. Many fans had been in outrage due to various rumors over the past year that Wonder Woman would be poorly adapted for the film. From a silly kryptionan origin rumor, to the Pre-New 52 “pants and jacket” costume, it seems if a rumor could arise about the character it probably had.<\/p>\n
