Its no secret that fans didn’t take well to the announcement that\u00a0\u00a0Jason Biggs \u00a0would be taking on the role of Leonardo in\u00a0Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon reboot. But after two seasons its hard to remember that people were upset by this.<\/p>\n

But now, IGN <\/a>is reporting that along with the show getting a premature Season 4 order, \u00a0Jason Biggs will be leaving the show at the conclusion of Season 2, making way for Seth Green to step up and take his place as Leonardo.<\/p>\n

\"Jason+Biggs+American+Reunion+Premiere+ZTlhsNptxq4l\"So why did Jason Biggs leave? The UK based site\u00a0Metro<\/a> contacted a Nickeldeon spokesperson for comment, we were told:<\/p>\n

\u2018Jason is pursuing other projects and we wish him the best.\u2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With Jason Biggs lately giving a supporting role to the Netflix Original show Orange Is The New Black and now\u00a0has a show called “Deadbeat” that is currently in pre-production, it would make sense that as his plate gets heavier, his desire to do a voice on a children’s cartoon would lessen.<\/p>\n

\"Seth-Green_celebhairdo\"<\/a>Seth Green is no newcomer to animation or voice-over work. As a veteran cast member of the show Family Guy, and creator of Robot Chicken, Seth has made a name for himself as both an actor as a voice-over actor.<\/p>\n

So will he make the cut as Leonardo? Absolutely. Will he be what fans are expecting? Probably not. But that was the same argument that was poised when Jason Biggs was first announced as the leading turtle back in 2011.<\/p>\n
