\"ksmith\"<\/a>In a recent\u00a0Hollywood Babble-On Podcast<\/a>, actor Kevin Smith commented on the newly revealed title for the upcoming Man Of Steel Sequel, and with it may have revealed something that everyone had already been speculating at this point, that being the future format of DC films.<\/p>\n

And yes, it sounds like the rumors were true.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the title itself:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a bit of a mouthful. And also, I don\u2019t know why Batman V. Superman. Why not just throw the \u201cs\u201d in there? Or spell it or something like that. Or honestly, every comic book fan on the planet, who is a DC comic book fan, I think we all wanted to see Batman\/Superman: World\u2019s Finest.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When the actor began to expand on the topic of the film itself, he revealed this about the franchise’s future:<\/p>\n

\u201cBut look, they\u2019re obviously beginning something, and there\u2019s a stretch of these flick, and so this is the beginning of the Justice League, as we all suspected as they were announcing that cast. We were like, \u2018This is the beginning of a Justice League movie.\u2019 From what I understand now, it\u2019s no longer like, \u2018This is Superman 2.\u2019 They\u2019re not doing these things. They\u2019re doing like, \u2018Here\u2019s Man of Steel. Here\u2019s Batman\/Superman: Dawn of Justice.\u2019 The next one is not like a sequel to one of the characters. They\u2019re just going to keep building their universe for about five or six movies. But all of them\u2026it\u2019s supposed to tell one massive story, which is all Justice League oriented”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So far up until this point many have speculated that this was exactly what DC was planning, but without confirmation it was simply a rumor. Kevin Smith, being who he is, seems to always know whats going. Especially when you factor in his longtime friendship with actor Ben Affleck.<\/p>\n

So is this true? Nothing is confirmed. But so far Kevin Smith has not been wrong.<\/p>\n
