Some say that the casting <a href=\"http:\/\/theculturednerd.com\/2014\/04\/more-casting-for-star-wars-episode-vii-inbound\/\">was incomplete<\/a>, citing that some of the most pivotal roles were purposefully left out as to help the surprise reveal in the film.<\/p>\n<p>New rumors have suggested that both\u00a0Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress could potentially be in the film.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">The\u00a0report about Asajj Ventress first came from\u00a0Movie Pilot (that unfortunately has now been taken down) says that that a previously unannounced\u00a0<\/span>new female role<span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u00a0will be played by actress <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm2143282\/\">Lupita Nyong&#8217;o<\/a> and she will be playing, former Sith apprentice to Count Duko, Asajj Ventress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While its completely in the realm of possibilities that this character could be included in the film due to her ambiguous open ended character resolution in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon, and the same goes for Darth Maul. In the cartoon both characters storylines were completely unresolved.<\/p>\n<p>So what is fueling the Darth Maul rumors? Most people\u00a0completely overlooked it due to the casting reveal, but some are citing that it is extremely unusual that this two actors (Peter Serafinowicz, voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I, and obviously Mark Hamill ) would simply meet up for a photo out of the blue.<\/p>\n<p>While admittedly it is a stretch that both characters\u00a0would be included, but it would be a great way to further bridge the connections from the prequel trilogy to the new films.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nEver since the casting reveal of Star Wars: Episode VII fans have been speculating what possibly could be missing.
