Now, Fox has revealed the release date for the film, along with a confirmation that there is indeed an Extended Cut, but with a catch.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverine, will debut its 4-disc 3D Blu-ray Unleashed Extended Edition, 2-disc Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on December 3.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the only way to get the Extended Cut is to buy the super deluxe 3D Blu-Ray set. The biggest drawback is that to get the version we want, we will have to buy it in the most useless of formats imaginable, 3D.
