First Official image of Darkseid revealed by Zack Snyder

The first official image of Darkseid from Zack Snyder’s Justice League was revealed by Snyder himself on his Vero and Twitter account. This is the first in-color confirmation that Darkseid will indeed be making his on-screen debut in Snyder’s cut of the Justice League. This comes on the heels of the official announcement that Snyder’s vision of the Justice League would be released on HBOMax in 2021.

Since the official confirmation of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Ray Porter himself confirmed on his Twitter that he’d indeed be playing the role of Darkseid in the Director’s cut of the Justice League. Not only that, but he was also gracious enough to pop up on the LightCast Podcast confirming he was in the mo-cap suit back in 2016 when the Justice League was originally in the works

One of the major differences between the Snyder Cut and the theatrical release of the Justice League is Darkseid. He was teased multiple times in Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice but never made an appearance in the follow-up movie of the Justice League, with Steppenwolf taking his place. With Snyder now officially given the green light to showcase his vision of the Justice League, we will finally see Darkseid onscreen and it’s definitely going to be a sight to behold!
